Jason is currently the Director of Communications at Callen-Lorde where he leads the development, implementation and strategic planning of organization-wide communication efforts and initiatives.
Prior to Callen-Lorde, Jason was the Communications Manager at AVAC where he oversaw AVAC’s editorial calendar and overall online content. In this role, Jason helped deploy and curate weekly emails including the HIV and STI-focused News Digest, managed AVAC’s social media accounts and maintained and updated both the AVAC and PrEPWatch websites.
He was also the National Organizer at Housing Works assisting on the Act Now End AIDS coalition and other national policy goals integral to ending the epidemic in the US. Before that, Jason worked as a Program Manager of Communications at 92NY where he mobilized the Jewish community with in-person programming and other innovative online initiatives including #GivingTuesday, Social Good Summit, in addition to creating brand-new programs such as Fierce Fridays, a Shabbat Series Celebrating Queer Jews.
Jason joined Callen-Lorde in 2025, bringing over a decade of community organizing experience and an always evolving communications perspective. He holds a B.A. in Political Science and African American Studies from the University at Buffalo (SUNY).

Jason is a co-founding member of PrEP4All, an organization dedicated to ensuring universal PrEP access for all, an ACT UP NY and Reclaim Pride Coalition member, was named in 2020's "Logo30" by LogoTV, in addition to 2023's "LGBTQ+ Power Players" list by amNewYork, Gay City News, and PoliticsNY, and was featured in 2024's "30 Leaders Look to the Future of HIV" from POZ Magazine.
